Just painted family room a pale gray with while trim, including high white cabinates and white fireplace mantle. There is an alcove underneath cabinates with a shelf and low cabinates. I wanted to paint that alcove area a different shade than the pale gray everywhere else, but in keeping with the soothing effect I now have. The hearth in front of fireplace is black marble
