I think the items on your wall are too small, too far apart, and hung too high. I like the idea of a gallery in that space, and I like the items you have selected for the wall, however, I think you will be much closer to achieving your desired effect with larger pieces. Perhaps you can even keep some of the same pieces but increase the size of the frames. I love your sofa!

I agree with ilikefriday! Before I created the gallery wall in my living room, I searched tons of photos and ideas from Houzz and Pinterest. This is my gallery wall:

The best way to display small pictures is on a wall where you can stand right up to them. With the couch in the way you can't get up close enough to really view the pictures. Here are some ideas... note the pictures are all close together.
