Hi! I set up a drip system for all my plants recently. Right now I have each of my alphonse karr bamboos set up with a 5 gph spot water emitter going thru a splitter which distributes water thru two emitters for each plant. Now I am wondering if a bubbler would be a better choice as it covers a larger area so the plants would be encouraged to spread out more? Plus I’m not certain the 2 drip emitters would be sufficient to wet the whole root ball of each plant.

Also would 5 gallons per plant be too much if I watered an hour once a week or maybe twice a week at 30 mins? They get full sun most of the day. I live in Elk Grove, Ca and it gets really hot (three digits for days on end) here during summer.
