Header size for Transom over pocket door

I would like to install a transom above a pocket door in 2 bathrooms
Rough openings very similar 110x68
One bathroom has already had a transom that was off center and a visual challenge. I have removed it and the header to reposition and bring the door height up. This is a wet room with all tile interior. With a ceiling height of 102”. I think I would be best served to have a split window to allow a cripple. The room connected (kitchen) has a ceiling height of 110”
I am aiming for the glass to start at ceiling height.
I want to do a minimal header and within it recess the pocket door track and rabbet in slots for glass. Trim out interior with tile or Ipe. Trim out kitchen side with ipe
Is it possible to do this? If so what would header be built with? Hardwood or metal clad studs? Sizes of header? Construction method?
