Yeah, they are way too small for that space. And too scrunched together.

This is off topic, but I would consider painting the vents the same color as the wall so they blend in.

Also, generally, the bottom of a piece of art should be 8-10" above the back of the couch.

I agree with @Lisa vents are kicking the wall out of balance, try to make them invisible first, then move shelves next to art, as @phuninthesun suggested, that way you will get better proportions with the sofa.

If you feel like there is too much empty space on that side, you can add a tall plant on that side too.

Okay thank you so much! This helps a lot. I was just kind of stuck and unsure what to do but all of that makes so much sense now! I have such a long and narrow living room that was so hard to make it look right

A larger end table and lamp would help as well
