Those are pretty darn good guesses!! I'd say the top was for sure 'Caramel' and the second very likely to be 'Georgia Peach'. Nice finds and great pricing!!

I agree, good guesses! Add some photos later in the season and see if the guesses still look good.

I saw some at our Lowes the other day too, we had Dales Strain, Caramel and Watermelon.

I'm brand new to Heuchera, just planting my first 3 two weeks ago. Your second one looks just like my Georgia Peach, so I think you've got that one right.

My favorite of my 3 new ones is this one, Mahogany. The leaves are thick and kind of glossy. I think the color is stunning.

He shoots he scores. Nice Catch! They had a bunch of different varieties a couple of years ago at Armstrong. I need to go check them out.

How much sun do these beauties get in their planted location? I do not have any shaded area in my yard and I think I might have burnt the some leave while in the holding area.

I planted mine in dappled sun under the canopy. I did not have any problems. I have seen corral bells the common variety grown in full sun.

The ones that are established in the house I moved in is in full sun. It’s amazing that is appears to be thriving well. All 4 plants. I guess the purple ones do very well. And from the amount of detritus is cleaned up. Looks like it was never pampered by the previous homeowner. :-)

I went to Lowes (Springdale) earlier in the week and nothing. Which one did you hit? Maybe I should try Fayetteville?

Home Depot in this area has some 'Carnival' series Heuchera plants in quarts. The one near where I work has 'Carnival Black Olive' and 'Carnival Cocomint' but they only have 'Heuchera Carnival' on the tags - not the specific variety.

The local Lowes has Heuchera in larger pots for $15-20. The only quarts they have are 'Dale's Strain' and I need that like a hole in the head...

Chris, my yard is mostly shade, so that’s where all of mine are planted. I don’t have much experience growing heucheras in the sun. As you said, though, the purple ones seem to do pretty well. :) I have one that looks similar to ‘forever purple’, and it gets midday sun. Looks pretty good except during the driest parts of the year. Glad yours seem to be doing OK in there for some locations! Good luck with that.

I love these plants, I wish we carried them. Our local Armstrong Garden Center has the ones pictured. after reading this discussion I want to get some now.
