We live on 5 acre place--small farm/garden/greenhouse/water ponds/etc. ...

I have a motorhome where I usually have 150 watt solar panel keeping auxiliary batteries at full charge--rv is in shop indefinitely, maybe forever...

And, I am curious if there is not a creative idea for what to do with the solar panel in the meanwhile. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or links.

My thinking originally is to go direct to a variable load that can handle anything the panel can throw at it, with at most a small cheap controller in the loop. A solar-powered "water-wheel" in garden or a fountain of sorts, to trickle into a small stream and water some herbs on hot sunny days?
