I am an avid gardener with 23 large gardens but the two that are my favs are at the north end of our house....they are filled with hostas/ferns/seal of solomon/white astibles/bleeding hearts but the predominant colours are white and green....the hostas are very easy to separate which is what I've done for years....there is a small island garden of "grasses between the two pics I'm attaching....the white flowers in the one photo is bridal wreath....we love our "secret" garden....as for the moss that is growing on your fountain, I wouldn't do a thing to that because it makes it look "aged"....I have it too on one of our birdbaths and just love the "old" look that it gives a garden....enjoy...
