How about also comparing against Raskin Acrylx, another SPC product like Supercore.

Regarding all 3 products:

1) Is Adura LVP/WPC and Supercore/Acrylx SPC?

2) Are they all free of thermal expansion issues, even Adura? What's the longest run I can put down? Do I need to worry about sun/heat at one end of the condo through the sliding glass doors?

3) How hard is it to install any of them backwards?

4) Where is each made?

5) Are they all 100% free of chemicals, outgassing, etc.

Other questions:

6) How thick is the wear layer on supercore? 10mil? 20mil?

7) What is the difference between Supercore and Supercore enhanced?

8) Where can I find/read actual supercore installation instructions?

1) No Idea what you are asking here. FWIU, Adura is WPC and Supercore is SPC. I don't know about Acrylx.

2)No. Depends on the product. And yes, though the Supercore has a wider range of temps.

I have narrowed my flooring search to 3 floors, Adura Max Dockside Pier, SuperCore Barnwood, and Armstrong Luxe Farmhouse Rugged Brown... the armstrong is a little to dark for me but I love the look so much. Just recevied the Supercore sample yesterday and I do like it but the sample is so small.. so hard to make a decision from a small sample. Does anyone have a picture of installed Barnwood that they could share. Also any comments on durability compared to these other name brand floorings. My husband is a little reluctant since he had never heard of Supercore?

I always ordered several samples. In addition, some people have ordered a box to test the color. I chose SuperCore over the namebrand because I think it's a better product. I need durable because we have a large family, and are hard on floors.

thanks suseyb... I have read thru the thread you noted, but didn't see any pictures of the barnwood. I will check youtube page. Have you been happy with your floors so far?

There is barnwood there, just might be hidden. We love our floors. We did choose a lighter color, so if there are any scratches, we haven't noticed. They are easy to clean, and look great. Our experience with We Ship Floors was also excellent. We had purchased floors online previous to this, and that did not go so well. This experience went great. Alan is responsive to questions, and knows floors.

I too have had great experience with Supercore from WeShipFloors.com - the service was excellent and the delivery process went very smooth. As Alan has stated before, all floors scratch, so you must be respectful of your flooring and practice due diligence to keep it protected. I chose the Maple Brown Sugar for my project, it is the perfect medium brown, without any strong grain or character designs. What got me most interested was the range of pattern that is offered by the exclusive "continuous roll" process used for Supercore. This process will guarantee a wide range of pattern print which eliminates the repeat issue (with other brands) that could result in a lower quality finished look for the space. A second enticing mention for Supercore is that they offer the most range of colors and designs that I have seen anywhere. It is worth mentioning that SPC (stone plastic composite) by Supercore is a NO VOC product that offers 12mil builder and 30mil commercial grade wear layers, and is an import product just like all other SPC products available on the market at this time.

Have you used the Basics Supercore line yet? Curious what it is like for install and looks...

Need to replace the carpet in my basement / family room. It's a finished room, below ground level but has windows on the larger size. Narrowed down the choice to LVP Supercore, but now need to decide between Basic vs. Xtreme. Kids, but no dogs. Will spend a lot of time in the family room since it has an office too.

So was trying to figure out which one makes more sense, especially in terms of comfort or warmth.

@weshipfloors Alan, just wondering if you have any updates on your US manufacturing site. Would be great if we could buy Supercore made in USA.
