A lot of people use promix bx or promix hp. I use a bulk mix from a local nursery it contains bark compost plus other stuff. It drains pretty well and is light weight. With close to 60 potted fig trees buying a yard of soil at a time is the most cost effective method for me.

I use it for my cuttings tranplanting I even seeded tomatoes and peppers I love it
