Many of my seedlings have produced multiple new branch growths all around their caudices at very young ages (4 to 5 months old) and are very small in height (2 to 3 inches high). Some came from Mr. Ko's seeds and others from my own plant's pod. I wonder if this is all down to a genetic pre-disposition to start branching early or whether I did something in their plant culture which encouraged this to occur?

I have also noticed that the plants with many tiny branch growths remain on the short side while others focus on height without putting effort into branch growth.

Another observation I have made is that two of my 7-month old seedlings are putting out their first flower buds but their caudices are very slender, while the plants with shorter and fatter caudices focus just on caudex and top leaf growth. I would be very interested to learn what others have to say.
