I just watched an episode of Chef's Table on Netflix. It was an episode featuring Alain Passard. He made an apple pie that had apple rosettes made of apple ribbons that had been rolled to make "rosettes". It was beautiful. I've made lots of apple pies, and I want to make this one. The tool he used on the show was stainless steel, but cut the apple in straight sheets. They weren't wavy. All the tools I see on Amazon cut wavy wide ribbons. Will this work?
