I think that almost all Sansevieria benefit from the same "tips." I have about a dozen varieties -- ballyii, forskaliana, trisfasciata, cylindrica, masoniana, fischeri, francisii, pinguicula, nitida -- and they all get "grown and raised" the same. Sans like to be in a well-draining mix. Some people here use true gritty mix. Others like me use a C/S soil base with added ingredients like perlite, chicken grit or pumice. Sans also like to be allowed to thoroughly drain -- so don't over-water, a cardinal rule.

I am in SW Florida and the big variation factor for me is how much direct sun vs. bright light does each one prefer. I have some that can tolerate 5-6 hours of direct sun per day, others that do better in bright light on, others than seem to like 1-2 hours of morning sun only. So -- they get moved around accordingly. They are quick to tell you what they prefer by their coloration. Yours is very pretty. I would keep it in a plastic pot and just make sure that the growing mix is gritty and fast-draining enough.

That type of sans can take lots of abuse. At least mine does. It is harder and stronger almost like an agave. It is able to go dryer for much longer periods than the regular flat leaf kinds. I guess over watering is still a issue. It survives my winter time abuse very well. It loves full sun.
