Junipers doomed?

I live in Zone 9b. I planted these green mound junipers less than 2 weeks ago and deep watered. It wasn’t on the forecast but it rained continually for 2 days right after deep watering. Now some branches and foliage have turned brown and brittle and most of it is not looking as nice and green anymore. They get full sun almost the whole day. Drainage seems ok though and the soil didn’t seem too wet at all.


Are they doomed?
This one looks to be doing great even though it gets less sun.
