Thank you! I love azaleas and hostas of course, that is a Kurume azalea, Pink Pearl. I love the double blooms on it.

I like Clematis a lot too, I bet yours is gorgeous. I've got to find someway to keep that support upright, but I do like it when it blooms. I forget the name but it's got big purple blooms on it.

Azaleas don't do well here in Colorado, so to us, the seem even more exotic.

The giant clematis is also big purple blooms. I think it's Jackmanji but I'm not certain. Back then, I never kept plant tags. I'm better with that now. It is beautiful but it borders on invasive.

I saved my tag and but now I can't find it. I buried it beside the plant but I think the squirrels dug it up.

Golden Meadows is such a nice hosta and yours is doing great! How many eyes is it and how long have you had it? Gone with the Wind is one I don't have. I like yours very much. In fact all your hostas are doing great. And that azalea is special!

Your hostas look wonderful. I also love your azalea, I keep trying to grow them but they eventually end up dying. I think it is a little too cold for them here.

newhostalady, I got Golden Meadows last year. I believe this year it had 3 eyes. Isn't that terrible - I was so concentrating on frost prevention I forgot to pay attention to eye count.

Beth, I guess I never thought about it being too cold for azaleas, since they're so common here I thought they were prolific all over. I'm sorry yours don't make it.

Stephanie, that is a nice size for Golden Meadows. I believe it is a slow grower. Don't worry about eye count. It's always easy when there isn't that many to count.

really nice pics!..I have June and Blue Mouse Ears..your BME is much bigger than any of mine..I'm afraid to try a clematis..didn't think I have enough sun..azaleas don't do well in Indiana..wish they did..
