Cabin on the river- help with upstairs bedroom

Bought this cabin recently. This is how the previous owners had it. The third picture is a table we put by the window overlooking the lake. What do you suggest for the bed area? Window treatment? I am thinking white comfortor and drapes with black rod and hooks on the drapes. The carpet is a blue grey which will stay for now. Looking for modern rustic look.

8 years agoLovely. I’d tend to off-white (or blue) rough linen bedding for some contrast with the wood. Do you need drapes? Could do linen there too. Blinds like below might be more modern looking?
