Greige or Beige?

I am hoping to find a light paint color for my open floor plan with all different light exposures. I prefer SW colors. I want a color on the warmer side but don’t want to go too warm.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

SW Agreeable Gray—too gray, but in some lighting it looks more brown which I do like.

SW Anew Gray—still a bit too gray in certain lights and might be darker than I want to go. I do like it when it looks more brown.

SW Accessible Beige—I like it when it looks more gray but not sure when it looks more brown.

SW Balanced Beige—I like it when it looks more gray but not when it looks more brown.

So, is there a color in between Agreeable and Accessible? Am I just stuck with picking one and having to live with the changing light and different exposures?

Any suggestions?

The yellowish paint color is what the builder chose—SW Navajo White. I repainted with SW Keystone Gray and I think it may be too dark so I’m thinking of lightening it up.

Mark has a good read on paints, as he's been helping me with a whole home interior paint color.

I'm leaning to SW Oyster Bar. It's lighter than your current choices. is that of interest to you? I feel like it has multiple personalities depending on the light and time of day. which is why I painted on canvas and then samples and we're still trying to decide if it'll work.

I felt that accessible beige was going to be too dark as well and Balanced Beige was way too dark.

I've been doing this color choice for about a year, off and on. it really helped going through the pictures and creating idea books for each color as well as searching the advice forums with the Sherwin-Williams color number and or name to hear what other people thought about using those colors either in their sampling or their paint project.

Current wall color is builders greige from a previous owner.

    1st: middle color

2nd: second color, top row (others were previous color run)

SW Naturel was a possibility but too dark for my project.

Thanks for your reply. I’m not opposed to a lighter color but don’t want to go white. Oyster Bar looks too green for me.

It doesn't have green but judging anything outside a wall sample is moot. I have ideabooks of these colors and each picture is different. Then of course all will look different in each house, room. that's the 'fun' of paint colors.
