Looks like the is some mechanical damage - rips - above the holes. Can it be a some mischievous cat or mouse - that not only bites but rips as well? What if you move the plant higher? Away from the 4 legged connoisseurs.

The photo shows the torn looking lower leaves but not the leaves that have a tiny hole. Both plants have these tiny holes and then the misshapen around the edge of new leaves. I'm thinking something is in the plant since I've repotted both plants. No cats or mice and the plants are on a tall stand.

Episcias have tender leaves - there could be some bruising during repotting, I saw caterpillars on Episcias - when my friend kept her door open to the back yard so the dog can get in and out. Moths got inside and laid eggs- but damage was significant - they defoliated plants.

Mice can get anywhere. These things climb and jump.

Returning to what Alabamaav suggested - yellow sticky traps strategically positioned around your plants will tell you a lot about what's there.
