I like the idea of a grid shower glass. You don't have to match, but personally I prefer a clean monochromatic look. Good luck!

Cathy, go clean class with no aluminum frame. I would also try to match the fixtures if everything is metal. Finally, consider different light temperatures in there. Not many people know what I mean by that but the temperature of the bulb changes the entire look in a room. I did a video about under cabinet lighting where I talk a lot about that. Makes a HUGE difference. In a recent kitchen remodel, I swapped out the bulbs three times until I found the ones that made the room look right. The first set was like a prison cell.

I would change the sink trap to the solid PVC type. It is not only more solid and less apt to leak but it also will carry more water and will clog less often.

I keep noticing more... are the light fixtures in the bathroom uneven or is the mirror tilted?

do black industrial style sconces and add some natural wood shelving over toilet.

you could also amp up that space and paint the vanity a bold blue or green

paint one of the walls black or do a shiplap treatment. put art of toilet.

gold fixtures w/black would be a better choice in there if you want some drama.
