it’s May 5 here in Northampton, MA. I planted Siberian Bugloss last year in the spring. Partial shade, under a pine tree. Hostas thrive there, as do PMJ (?) rhododendrons and Lilly of the valley. The Bugloss did well all last summer and fall. Great flowers and beautiful foliage. so far, it’s nowhere to be seen. My bleeding heart which I planted nearby at the same time is coming up strong , as are established Lillies of the valley.

Is it too early? When should I expect it to come up? Is it gone? What happened to it?
