I am starting a new thread because I incorrectly asked how to get rid of crab grass. However, my problem is with Quack Grass that is taking over my gardens. I have tried digging it out but that seems to make it grow thicker and healthier. Please help me figure out how I can get these rid of these patches of grass. It has long white roots that are growing into everything. Those long runners just break off when I try to pull them out.

I was using Grass Beater and it seemed to slow it down but does not get rid of it.
