My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Simple pool design

Looking to get a low budget in ground pool installed. I asked the first company if he could do concrete right up to the pool instead of the flagstone coping he first showed. He came back with showing me a caststone coping that he said could be gray to look more seamless.

In doing research, it seems concrete can be taking to the edge, though it may be a little more expensive. His decking in the quote was broomed concrete. I have a hard time picturing based on concept photos.

I also just wanted some simple steps. The pool is 12x24 rectangular. Not sure If I like either of the step designs. Here are the concept photos.

Any other ideas I can take back to him? I really don't like the look of coping, unless it completely matches the decking... This is in the DFW area.
