My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Finally, the indigo buntings are back....

They were a little late this year. But better late than never, right? :)

Looks like he was finding some left-over seed from the winter in the drive.

    Oh, I have envy. I saw them a few times one year a few years ago- they were so startlingly blue and not what I was familiar with I looked them up... and haven't seen them since.

    And also.. what a great pic!

    Thanks beesneeds. They seem to darken up as the summer goes on, but they sure are beautiful. I sure would like to see some blue grosbeaks too! Never have seen them around here. Maybe some day.

    I've never seen a blue grosbeak either. We get the rose breasted ones around here, and those are very pretty.

    I swear, catherine, if I ever see an Indigo Bunting I will surely faint! I'm in SE Michigan and a neighbor pointed one out to me many years ago but it flew away after I got a very slight look. Such a nice picture you took!
