Can you help me ID this maple?

This maple was in the back yard when we moved in 6 years ago, and I've never been able to identify it. Can you help? Maples are not very common trees here, although people do plant Japanese Maples. The native maples Acer grandidentatum, and Acer negundo do not look anything like this one. I don't think it's a sugar maple, or a red maple. When we moved in, it was a little lollipop of a thing, but it's been growing 3-5 feet a year, so it's at least 30 feet across now.

Here's what it looks like today:

It's about 20 feet tall, and only seems to want to get wider, not taller. The lower branches would be pendulous, hanging to the ground, but I limb it up twice a year so that I can plant under it.

For comparison here it is in 2011:

Flowers in the spring are yellow, and petalled.

The flowers may or may not occur with the leaves.

Tree in full bloom:

Leaves and samaras: Left is the surface, and the right leaf is the back side. Both sides are smooth, shiny and and almost waxy/rubbery and the edges ares slightly ruffled. These are the largest leaves I could find, about 3" across.

Winter:

Do you have any idea what kind of maple it is?
