Hi,

I noticed my squash plant had about 5 flowers with baby squash at the base, they all eventually died a few days later and wilted off. I looked it up to find out they were not pollinated, so I plan on pollinating by hand next time. My question is, will another squash flower regenerate, or should I trim the plant back?

Squash flowers will appear continuously for the life of the plant. What kind of squash are we talking about?

If those were the very first few flowers the plant ever grew, it's totally normal for those to wilt off even without blooming. Either way, yellow squash ought to be pretty prolific so you should be at no loss for more opportunities! Don't trim anything, just let it continue to grow out a vine and new flowers will appear along the way. Good luck!
