Bumping up- hoping someone has experience to share about how to best resolve this. If it were me, I would want a refund in order to buy a non blue interior oven.

Bing “kitchenaid oven problems”. Four years ago I bought a KA double oven. Needed to self-clean and was warned about the problem. When I called KA, the customer service woman warned me that I would void the warranty by using self- clean. She also said I couldn’t use oven cleaner. My oven was less than six months old. Guess why I am not buying KA in my upcoming remodel?

How does the warranty read? Are there instructions in the manual for using the self clean? They would have to say in manual what would void the warranty.

I am blown away that using a feature you paid for on the oven would void a warranty on said oven. I am pretty sure this was covered in law school as a no-no.
