Even without a child and a dog, white pretty much needs to be scrubbable. You've got a multitude of colors that coordinate; no need for a white couch.

I would get a grey couch

Thanks all! Yeah I thought of a grey couch but my husband hates the colour and I'm scared it would make the space feel cold

If your husband hates gray try an eggplant color, he'll be sure to hate that! How about navy blue? Lime green, white and navy would all be pretty together.

Green works well with blue and brown tones.

That green is versatile, adds great punch to just about any room, and shows up in some surprising and delightful combinations. Show hubby the photos and see what floats his boat.

I love the idea of working with the green, there are many directions you can go in. I am a color consultant/designer and created an app called Color911 which is the best app out there for color inspiration and guidance. Within the app are many different color themes, each with a completely different mood. You can choose a theme and it becomes the best tool you could ever want with knowing what colors go together.
