So I’ve had these CanCan climbers on my chain link fence for the past 3 years. 1 shrub always seemed to do better than its counterpart. But the other one was having it’s nutrients stolen by a maple tree, which I removed last year and the shrub really started to come to life...ffwd to this year and the one that always did so well hasn’t even grown a leaf yet, and the struggling one has a few but still looking weak. I don’t want to give up on them, but I don’t know if I’m fooling myself to think somehow they’re all of the sudden going to start doing something? I’ll post a pic of them in bloom and how they look now. I’m a novice when it comes to roses hence me not knowing if it’s actually dead or not. I just find it odd that all over the sudden a rose bush that has been thru 3 winters here, always performed well and grew more each year, has now died out of nowhere?
