I have 2 advantiums, both 220 in each of 2 houses. I use them a lot and like them a lot. Here's the rub. The blue dot displays on both base to the point of not being readable. One unit is about 15 years old, the other 5 yo. I had the display replaced on the older one at about 4 yo. It also has faded. When the newer one faded, I just gave up. Others with this issue...

Second, when simply heating coffee, the older one is significantly stronger than the new one. The older one is installed at sea level and the other one at 6000 ft. Appreciate any help here.
