We will soon be putting in hardwood flooring throughout our new house. We have high quality oak trim covering all 4000 square foot of our home. Although I love white trim, the job is just too big to paint all the trim so we're leaving it as it is. We haven't decided on the wood flooring yet, but it's going to have to match well with the wood trim. Our biggest dilemma now is decidomg what to do with the entryway stairs. I want to get rid of the carpet and put hardwood on them, but my dear husband does not. What are everyone's thoughts on these stairs? They are the focal point when anyone enters the house.
