Didn't notice request for "specific type of azalea" before. If still looking try some nurseries or display gardens, while flowers are still present. Someplace like that, where they may happen to have the same exact selection - with labeling.

If you don’t find an actual plant for comparison, you might find it using the Rhododendron Society of America’s database. Here is the search page for adding multiple parameters such as 10year height and bloom color, etc., which will get you a list of possibilities. Many of the plants have photos for comparison. It isn’t a totally comprehensive list, but the best I have found.

it begs the question.. why do you want to know ... if its for the sake of knowledge ... you are all set.. its an A ....

but it may be very problematic to find an exact copy.. so your alternative.. if you want more plants ... is to search for something that compliments it .. rather than duplicates it ...

If the same selection happens to be on the general market in the area or repeatedly used in local display plantings it might be found right away. However one variable encountered with deciduous hybrid azaleas - of which plant asked about is an example - is a past history of unselected seedlings belonging to certain group(s) being sold. If specimen shown here is one such it may not have its own individual cultivar name. And may never been cloned.

For purposes of illustration it's the same situation as when annual bedding or vegetable plants are offered as a named seed strain - each individual seedling is known only as an example of the strain, does not have its own unique designation.
