From what can be seen in those pictures, those fronts doesn't look like a good craftsmanship to me. I would certainly raise an issue with the contractor and request to replace the surfaces.

Insufficient prep and a horrible paint job. Unacceptable.

Bad paint job for sure andcontractors are not cabinet refinishers usually, did they take all the doors and drawer fronts away to be sprayed if not those little imperfections you see will become huge ones in the near future.

The paint job is totally unacceptable. They definitely did not prep properly before painting and the paint application is very poor, you can see runs along the bottom edge of the door in the 2nd pic. It also looks as though they caulked where the center panel meets the stiles and rails, this could be a problem in the future as in real wood doors these panels are designed to float for expansion and contraction purposes.

Total clueless hacks who painted it with their feet it looks like.

Where did you find these guys. And what did they charge you to ruin your house?

That's not an acceptable paint job on old beat-up cabinets! Paint & caulk gobs and even hair stuck in the paint!

I'm really having a hard time believing these are new cabinets. It looks like it's painted over layers of old paint. And I can see dents, marks, and scratches. Did you take progress pictures of the work?

I agree with the others. Not only is the paint job poor, but the cabinets themselves are bottom quality. But did you see cabinet samples before contracting for this work? If not, you effectively approved them by omission, by sight-unseen. If that's the case, the burden of replacement is on you, not the contractor. Let us know what agreement you had with the contractor before installation regarding the cabinets. If you saw beautifully painted cabinets as examples of the contractor's work then that is what he needs to provide, and the replacement is on him.
