I have a soft spot for columbine, it was the first ever plant that got me into gardening, since my first encounter with this awesome plant I have accumulated 36 plants in my garden with only 5-6 of them being repeats. The rest of the plants are all different varieties and are all looking very happy this year. Here are some pictures of the ones that have opened up thus far.

All this garden needs is a better dog proof fence and it will be set. I have been working on it for three years but my dog has other plans for the dirt and always seems to find a way in and destroy half my plants. Luckily the harder to get ones he missed but there have been plenty of causalities along the way.
