with that being said,

i have been noticing tiny red droppings scattered about on the windowsill where i have my plants sitting. I dont think they are bugs, they have a somewhat hard shell and a teardrop shape. One of my plants sprouted a clover and i thought maybe it was dropping seeds from the flowers? But the red things are below all the plants, not just the one with the clover. can anyone tell me what these are?

in addition to the red dots, there are also some small, clear, more oblong scatterings. One of my plants had a issue with fungus gnats, i repotted it about three weeks ago. Is it possible that the oblong clear things are gnats that survived the repotting? Somehow able to escape the soil and wiggles out onto the windowsill?
