Specifically looking at the Designers Image "Click Lock Plus" Vinyl Plank floating flooring..... Looks like it has a very good warranty and the product is 4mm thick. Price is less than $3.00/SF. Glueless installation, waterproof. Any advice on this products?? Thanks......... :)

Looks/sounds a lot like Mannington Adura "Lock Solid" Planks - wood-look vinyl flooring (which sells for arouond $4.50-$5.00/SF). Anyone know much about either of those products??? Thanks................

    Hi Julie,
I am looking at installing the Menard's Homestead vinyl plank floating floor in "Applewood." What did you end up going with?

Junk. Don't buy it. Does not install easy at all. They recommend not using a hammer to tap into place so you push and push until your wrists snap. Less than a week after installed, GAPS, which I don't even bother calling for warranty because they would just say I didn't install it properly. I followed their crappy instructions and watched a YouTube video after it wouldn't snap together as they claim. Click-lock is a joke. Scratch resistant?? Ha! Stupid felt pads on everything as recommended which are so attractive on the furniture and I have yet to figure out what scratched the 'scratch resistant' floor. I've had it less than a month and hate it so much, I'm looking for something to replace it. When I do, every piece of this junk is going back to Menards and they can dispose of it. I've laid other flooring and never had so much frustration and never had one gap. I absolutely hate even looking at it now. $1500.00 worth of junk!!

Any updates on this product? I’m considering the Twilight Evening Glade LVP from Menards’ Designers Image and I’d love to see photos and/or hear experience. Thank you!

I spent $12000. getting the Designer Image installed in my place of business. In less than a year the flooring was cracking and the edges curling. This only happened in a few places which tells me the boards were defective. I contacted QUALITY CRAFT AND MENARDS and after several letters, pictures and complaints I was told it was an "installation problem. The only problem is the boards were cracking and the edges on them curling which has nothing to do with the way it was installed. I told them just get it fixed or pay for me to fix the defective boards but they kept copping out and telling me it was not their problem. MENARDS WAS NO HELP EITHER TELLING ME IT WAS A MANUFACTURER PROBLEM AND THEY CANNOT DO ANYTHING.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT, I HAVE HIRED AN ATTORNEY TO GET ME SOME RESULTS BUT THIS COMPANY AND MENARDS ARE TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH. GO TO LOWES OR HOME DEPOT AS THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
