Fine wine and Spilled wine are compact versions of Wine and Rose and should stay within your requirements. Midnight wine is more of a ground cover. My Monet is also very compact if you want variegated foliage. Its not as heavy a bloomer as the others.

I wouldn't consider any of those as having red flowers - more of a magenta pink. But that's a much better flower color than red with that burgundy foliage :-) And My Monet's flowers are more of a washed out pink.

For really red flowers, look for 'Red Prince', 'Sonic Bloom' or Magical Robin......they should all stay within your size range or very close to it.
