I remember having wonder woman knickers and matching undershirt that I wanted to wear all the time as a small child, my mom had other ideas - like getting them into the laundry - but I wore those swimming, around the house, in the backyard, to bed...until they fell apart and my mom secretly threw them away hoping I wouldn't notice because of the new "Dukes of Hazard" trend. :P There are pictures of me wearing the WW stuff someplace in our family picture files that my mom had converted to digital.

Shaq has the "S" as both a play on his name and tied to Superman, IIRC (If I recall correctly).

The new WW movie and its star are a pretty decent effort at presenting the character in a way that a new and younger audience will connect with in a similar way that previous generations and their iteration of WW did. I was surprised that the movie studios actually decided to do more than just another comic book male lead, male supporting, appearance by WW with a few lines' thing. It's like they think the market for comic book women leads-turned-into-movie format doesn't exist, but the teenage to mid thirties aged males aren't the only ones who can drive demand in this world - women *are* 51%* of the population on the planet. :P
