Yes, it is -- concerned it's one of those 'too good to be true' scenarios. $3.49 is $3.49. :)

It's normal for tuberosa to emerge late. Never heard of this company, but I've noticed many similar websites don't seem to have much of a selection of milkweeds to choose from. It's usually just A. syriaca, A. tuberosa, and A. incarnata. A. speciosa is a really cool milkweed, at least the place offers that one.

I'll give it a shot and report back if I have any issues. :)

Just an FYI that I received my seeds (along with planting and monarch care instructions) promptly in the mail a couple of days ago. LM.c put both types of seeds into one plastic pouch, so I don't know how to discern one type from another. However, I'm ready for the adventure!

Maybe they didn't send you both. If you live in the West, maybe they sent only A speciosa. If you live in the East, maybe they sent A syriaca. The description says "appropriate for your area"

Their order form shows these options:

...and they indicate "Syriaca & Speciosa", so I just assumed both. It's fine, whatever I received -- I just didn't want any Curassavica as I've got plenty of those growing in my yard already.

I'm in TX, so kinda smack dab in the middle of E vs W, but more qualify for Southern. :)

Maybe you did get both then.

The folks at LM replied very quickly! They confirmed that because of where I live, they sent A. syriaca.
