Hi and thanks for inquiring. Our Outdoor Pillows are sewn shut. However, they are polyester material on the outside and poly fiber fill on the inside. Hence, Polyester doesnt hold moisture inside of it. You have a couple options here. If there is any type of debris on the outside, you can brush it out very easily with soap and water. You may not even need soap. However, feel free to throw in the wash as well. Dry on low heat and this will work as well.
