This Hosta in my neighbours yard caught my eye this morning. It would have come from a big box store...he likes a bargain, and isn’t a collector. That’s a Patriot beside it, and a dandelion at the lower left! Any thoughts?

It looks similar to Dab-a-Green, which is a sport of a sport of Sun Power...so maybe a chance sport from tc, of what was supposed to be Sun Power?

Looks like a possibility Steve. The darker border is perhaps wider than Hosta library suggests, but it certainly has that lovely ruffled edge, which is what caught my attention. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any chance it started out much lighter in the middle earlier in the spring? Reminds me a little of my Fortunei Albopicta. Later in the season the margin is hardly visible at all.
