What plant is this pup on? Kinda of looks like your Lillian True... so now I’m curious.

Stush - lovely pup :) But I'm afraid that in a moment it will be yellow. The same happens with my S. trifasciata 'Golden Flame' - the young leaves are always green, almost celadon, and then turn yellow

Ewa, Wow, what a nice example of Gold Flame. I have several and almost lost them all but for the last two years they have been making a come back.

Why did you almost lose them and what was the reason ? These little ones look healthy and will definitely be beautiful, I keep my fingers :)

Had a whole pot full and wintering them over in my basement was hard on them. Brought them out two years ago and they rotted and only had a few to re-plant and start over with.

Also lost my Silver Frost. That made me mad.

Lauren, Same as regular trifasciata. It takes a lot of abuse during winter months very well. Very tuff plant.
