You have a very nice home with clean lines. The color above the garage door highlights that particular area of your home, which isn't what you want highlighted. I would paint it a color to blend with the brick. Paint your front door a brighter color to bring the focus to your front door.

You could change the shutters for much wider shutters so they appear functional if you are trying to keep that cottage look for your home. OR you could remove them entirely. I wouldn't change the material under the windows to anything. I would paint that area to blend with the brick siding. Featuring the area below the windows as a decorative item seems odd to me.

The other changes that would work as a feature:

Increase the size of your address. Use modern, straight numbers that are easy to read from the street.

Change out that spot light above your garage to something not as utilitarian and get modern, clean line fixtures for your coach lights (right now they are very cottage like).

Boost your landscaping. That is what is missing on this home. You could go for modern type landscaping like below. Work with a landscape designer
