What do you think of this Hosta Striptease?

We purchased it yesterday from "Andy the Hosta man" in Royal Oak for $5.

Of course absolutely cheap but I wonder why he said he isnt happy with its striping.

do you guys think the plant could be come "better" as it matures?


my husband loves this variety and I would consider buying an other one with better markings.
