We did go. It was really very crowded. Beautiful day though. Too many people. It was nice. Must be a lot of work to maintain a garden like that!

The first time I went it was a cool cloudy day, and the gardens were not crowded. In future I will go for that again. One of the vendors commented that he had never seen so many people at the event. I think there were several factors. For the last two years, this was held a week earlier, I think there were a fair number of extra people out for adventure on Memorial Day weekend, perhaps driving on to their weekend destination. Another factor is that rain was predicted for Sunday so extra people opted to go for Saturday. I love these gardens, but admit that the sheer number of people detracted a bit from the experience.

It's too bad that the bad weather predicted for Sunday made it more crowded on Saturday. Both times that I've gone, it wasn't overcrowded. I wish that they would have it open for more than just two days though. I had posted several photos here a couple of years ago, but I don't know if they are still accessible.

I had hoped to go but am too far behind in my own garden chores. Still trying to get my veggie garden in. Have June 16 earmarked for Open Garden Days in Monadnock NH area.
