I love your inspiration photo! These are so important to help everyone "see" the same vision.

It is difficult to make out the architect's notes on the layout so I cannot comment in depth. I see the half wall at the entry but not sure what "freestanding cabinet" you are referring to. Is it possible for you to post a close-up shot of that area?

One thing that jumps out at me is that your prep areas seem like they may be limited. It appears you have a 48" range on the drawing (again, not sure on that) so I can only assume you do a fair amount of cooking and entertaining. I would just caution you to make sure you are comfortable with the amount of prep/counter space available on your single run of cabinetry. In your inspiration pictures, the table is set up to utilize as an island prep area - closer to the cabinetry, one side open (no chairs) for working and at a comfortable height for both prep and dining. Your drawing floats the dining table further from the main work area since that area is more narrow.
