Mary Milton is white when the flowers are fully open. The pink stage is very short. The buds have a peachy tint to them. I think it's very beautiful, but then I don't like pink!

I grew Mary Milton in my previous garden and the flowers remained "pink" for me. I also dislike pink flowers but the reddish new growth combined with a more coral pink flower (think the color of faded Hydrangea paniculata flowers) worked for me.

Not a snowball but viburnum bodnantense ‘Dawn’ is reliably pink and smells divine. Blooms in late winter which is lovely, especially in my wet dreary climate. Lots of flowers and blooms survive even when the weather gets cold and nasty.

The old fashioned doublefiles, like 'Mariesii' or 'Shasta'. And any of the really fragrant ones - carlesii, juddii, carlcephalum.

I'll put in a good word for Kern's Pink - blush pink flowers that fade to white are long-lasting, and the foliage is attractive with excellent texture and a slight reddish bronze cast (although Japanese beetles can cause some damage). It has a relatively upright growth form. It will suffer some winter injury if temps dip below -15F.

My 'Mary Milton' has a gorgeous peachy blush in bud and then opens to creamy white. I wonder if it was mislabeled?
