Help diagnosing my lemon tree

This lemon tree has been growing for 5 years from a seed within a store-bought lemon. For the last year the tree has looked like this, with seemingly healthy new leaf growth succumbing to the discoloration, spots, and eventual death. I've sprayed it for the last year every week or so with copious amounts of copper fungicide to no avail. It is in a southern facing window with plenty of light so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any and all advice is welcome, Thanks!

Do you ever set it outside for the summer? That would help a LOT.

The previous few summers I have, but I thought I'd quarantine it inside until I figured out what's wrong.

Maybe spider mites; maybe just underfed... you say nothing about fertilizer. BTW a sunny window indoors is roughly equivalent to full shade outdoors. Other than that, especially if you put it out... I would lop back the tops maybe 4-6 inches to encourage stronger growth. Oh, and enough with the copper; that is mostly for fungus; and I don't see evidence of that.

Off topic I know, but are you fertilizing with a citrus fertilizer?

The main problem with your tree is that it is not getting enough light, and has not received sufficient light for a long time. It is therefor stretched and spindly looking and not branching out. The tree should have been topped long ago. Give the tree a break, and take it out side.
