UPDATE: I remember now. I found a small plastic container with some seeds in it. I didn't know what they were, so I planted them to see. Evidently, they were pigeon pea seeds I had saved. YAY! So now I will have a couple of pigeon pea trees! It looks like nothing else is going to come up in that cell pack.

I have a plastic pot in an out-of-the way area with a plant that's coming back from the roots. I'm still eyeballing it few days, trying to figure out what it is.

Bea, the ones I planted this year are doing well so far. They were old seeds, but I soaked them for a couple of days and they are growing o.k. so far. Just planted them a week or so ago, and have not grown them before. Regular green beans do not do well for me here.

Carol, it seems the universe looks out for me with the volunteer plants. One year, I was bemoaning the fact that I hadn't saved any Everglades seeds, when some tomatoes started sprouting in a bone dry six pack in the courtyard. I watered them, transplanted them and guess what they were? Everglades! I've never forgotten to save seed since then.
