Hey all, we just bought a house where the previous owner layered modern tiles over the previous old tiles. Although we love these modern tiles, there are problems when it comes to the second floor. Since the stairs did not change, there is a gap of about half a centimeter between the end of the stairs and these newly layered tiles. In fact when you go up the stairs you quickly notice this gap and could also hit your feet with the tile if you're not careful enough. I was thinking about whether there was an option to either level them out or make the change more smooth, basically getting rid of the sharp edge. Any opinions please?
