Would this fence hold up to high winds? Would it get very hot?

We live at the mouth of a canyon, which causes high winds. We also live in a desert area so it gets hot. Do you feel this would be a good privacy fence and would you plant grass nearby? What did you use to brace it against?

    I have a similar fence in the northwest. The metal is turned sideways.
    Yes, it will reflect heat in the summer.
    If you use new metal, you could wipe it down with muratic acid to take away the shine. Commonly used metal is applied.
    It is as wind resistant as any fence would be. No more, no less.
